In 2009, AECEO will carry out cooperation activities as an opportunity for the mutual development of the involved parts and not only as an instrument to solve problems in the territories where the support for development is currently put into practice.
In this way, AECEO will work together with the involved public entities in developing activities and also with different organizations and associations which promote the participation of the citizens in public interest issues, that is the civil society.
In 2009, AECEO wants to promote common projects among entities from Extremadura and organizations from Central and Eastern Europe in order to facilitate the bases for stable cooperation agreements which allow them to make real the mutual cooperation activities carried out.
OBJECTIVES
- Promoting sectorial and horizontal activities in which public and private institutions from Extremadura and Central and Eastern Europe will be involved in political, institutional, economic and social areas.
- Promoting the exchange of knowledge and good practices in social, institutional, business and cultural areas by organizing territorial activities as a mean for the mutual knowledge and to strengthen the economic, cultural and social ties between Extremadura and countries from Central and Eastern Europe.
